Three senators endorse Albano for state Senate

Michael Albano’s bid for State Senate got a significant boost on Saturday when progressive State Senators Pat Jehlen, Jaime Eldridge, and Sonia Chang-Diaz showed up at his kickoff to endorse him. The Senators each stressed to a room full of Albano supporters the importance of volunteerism and public support in the crowded special election campaign, and the need to send Albano to Beacon Hill as a voice for progressive politics and reform. In a crowded field with many candidates calling themselves progressives, the Albano campaign say these endorsements signal to voters that Albano is the strongest progressive in the race.
